Cinch hires sports marketing agency for extensive sponsorship package

Cinch is an online used car marketplace and was launched in October 2020.

Its national advertising campaign features television personality Rylan Clark-Neal, and the brand has signed high profile sponsorship deals with Tottenham Hotspur, Northampton Saints, the Lawn Tennis Association for the cinch Championships and the ECB, as as main partner of England Cricket.

Pitch’s role is to leverage cinch’s investments in sports to increase brand awareness of the “easy way to find and buy a used car” and accelerate business growth.

This new deal is an important milestone for Pitch’s specialist sponsorship division, Pitch Partnerships. The agency plans to activate cinch’s partnership assets through an integrated marketing approach, integrating creative services, branded content production, public relations, social media strategy, and immersive events and experiences.

“Although the pitch process was very competitive, with impressive responses from all the agencies involved, we felt that Pitch best suited the cinch philosophy of doing things differently with really fun and engaging ideas for reach the widest audience possible, at home and in front of fans, at home or away,” said Cinch Chief Client Officer Robert Bridge.

“We have big ambitions and are now well into writing the playbook of how our sports partnerships can play their part in achieving them.”

Pitch Marketing Group Managing Director Chris Allen added: “This is not only a huge win for Pitch Partnerships, but for the agency as a whole, with a mission that also extends to our specialist teams of public relations and content production. cinch’s ambition and portfolio of sports partnerships gives us the unique opportunity to create end-to-end marketing campaigns spanning many sports and events. This news marked the best start to the year we could have hoped for. »
