NEW ORLEANS – David Warner was hired as managing director of Privateer Sports Marketing as New Orleans announced an expanded partnership with The Aspire Group. Warner started at the lake on August 9 after spending the spring with Southern Miss and Learfield IMG.
“I’m very happy to be back in New Orleans and working with UNO Athletics,” Warner said. “The University of New Orleans represents the diverse nature of our city, and I’m excited to help maximize the potential of our teams through corporate partnerships.”
In Hattiesburg, Warner oversaw the management of on-site corporate sponsorships and digital assets, as well as intellectual property.
Prior to his time at Southern Miss, Warner was the Senior Director of Business Development for Tulane Sports Properties from 2016-21.

He held business development positions with the New Orleans Zephyrs (2014-16) and the National Kidney Foundation of Louisiana (2012-14). He served as program director for the University of Mississippi Foundation after graduating from Ole Miss in 2007.
Originally from Columbia, Mississippi, Warner resides in Slidell with his girlfriend Kaytlinn and their son Graham.
