With the new NIL rules in place, Georgia’s junior quarterback JT Daniels has a deal ahead of the 2021 season. According to a report, confirmed by Daniels on social media, the Dawgs quarterback has signed with a sports marketing agency.

Daniels signed with Everett Sports Marketing and is now part of the same company as the former Georgia stars. Nick chubb, Sony Michel, By André Swift, and Jake fromm.

“Happy to collaborate with @ to guide my NIL strategy in philanthropic and commercial efforts! ”said Daniels.

Everett confirmed the deal on his own.

“We are delighted to welcome UGA quarterback @jtdaniels to the ESM family! Former Football Player of the Year Gatorade is set to build on his strong 2020 campaign in Athens and lead the Bulldogs to a championship. ESM is delighted to help maximize NIL opportunities for some of college football’s biggest stars. “

Daniels has started the final four games of the 2020 UGA season and led the team to four straight wins, including a 24-21 win over No.8 Cincinnati at the Peach Bowl. The California native completed 67.3% of his passes over those four starts for 1,231 yards, 10 touchdowns and two interceptions. He averaged 10.3 yards per completion and finished the season as the UGA leader in passing yards and passing touchdowns despite only playing all four games. . The injury forced him to undergo several surgeries, one in September 2019 and another a few months later.

After Kedon Slovis took over and established a solid understanding of the job, Daniels stepped into the NCAA transfer portal and ultimately chose UGA as his next home. He got immediate NCAA eligibility and moved to Athens in June. In his Georgia debut, Daniels completed 28 of 38 passes for 401 yards and four touchdowns in a 31-24 victory over Mississippi State in a game where UGA struggled to lead the game.
