‘Succession’ Season 3 Premiere Draws Most Viewers Yet

Succession Season three has attracted the most viewers of the show to date, HBO has revealed.

After the first episode of the third season premiered over the weekend (October 17), the network revealed to Variety that more than 1.4 million viewers have logged in to watch the new opus.

Audience is said to have grown 21% since the season two finale and 13% from the season two premiere. Since the series debuted in 2018, viewership has grown by 39%.

HBO says the rise in viewership can in part be attributed to the show’s performance on digital, following in the footsteps of Big little lies in June 2019.

Succession would have been the best overall title on HBO Max all weekend before and after the premiere. New episodes will now air weekly throughout the season.

Meanwhile, Nicholas Braun Succession the character Cousin Greg has inspired a new sex toy.

To coincide with the launch of the third season, the CamSoda website unveiled the “Greg the Egg” toy, which buyers can use while watching the show.

According to a press release, fans can connect their “teledildonic” device – or Internet-connected sex toy – to the “Greg the Egg” camera room every Sunday night when the show is on air. After being synced, its vibrations will increase whenever Nicholas Braun’s character, Greg Hirsch, appears on screen.

After being informed of the launch of the new product, Braun said Vanity Show: “Oh my god, I wish I didn’t know about this.”
