Summit HS Boys Tennis defeats Bernards 5-0 and claims sectional crown

SUMMIT, NJ – The verdict was unanimous at ‘The Summit Courthouse’, a.k.a Memorial park.

Another dominant performance from number one singles Brendan Mcdonald led another stellar collective performance from the Summit High School Boys’ Tennis Team, one that brought a whole new shiny material to the Hilltop City Campus Trophy Case – the NJSIAA North Jersey Championship, Group 2, Section 2.

The Hilltoppers swept Bernards 5-0, dropping just five total games in the process, to win their second straight sectional championship (2019, 2021). The victory brings the Maroon and Whites’ season record to 14-4, a campaign that has now seen them clinch a three-time title, having won both the Union County Conference and the Union County Championships.
